Margaret Feilman OBE
Born in 1921, Margaret was Perth’s first female town planner. Her career included the design of the towns of Kwinana and Ellenbrook. In 1976, she became a member of the new Australian Heritage Commission and helped establish the Register of the National Estate. She had widespread interests in the arts, conservation, heritage and the general community. Margaret passed away in 2013.
